Description
Claire Baritaud is a distinguished professional with extensive experience in the fields of innovation, technology, and transportation policy. Since November 2023, she has been leading the Societal Engagement department at La Poste Groupe in Paris, focusing on policies, expertise, and programming. Prior to this, Claire served at the Ministry of Ecological Transition and Territorial Cohesion as the Deputy Director of Multimodality, Innovation, Digital and Territories, where she coordinated the Innovation Agency for Transport. Her accomplishments include the creation of the Propulse accelerator and co-chairing the France 2030 transportation committee.
At the Ministry of Higher Education, Research, and Innovation, Claire led the Department of Innovation Policies through Technology Transfer, playing a key role in shaping partner research policies and entrepreneurial initiatives. Her tenure at DIRECCTE and SGAR in Pays de Loire as Deputy Head and regional mission leader for economy, enterprises, and innovation, marked her as a key figure in national competitiveness and digital transformation policies.
Claire's earlier career at Michelin and Arkema showcases her prowess in strategic innovation management and industrial research in rheology, respectively. Her academic credentials include a PhD in Material Sciences from MINES ParisTech, an engineering degree from ESPCI, and being a Mines Engineer graduate, illustrating her deep expertise in material sciences and innovation.
