The Autonomy Mobility Innovation Awards recognises new Innovations enabling transformation in the Mobility sector. It is open to all companies from all around the World presenting projects, products, solutions, ideas, or prototypes focusing on any of 7 industry themes of the Mobility ecosystem.

Where?
The Innovation Awards took place during AUTONOMY MOBILITY WORLD EXPO 2024, at Pavillon 6, Porte de Versailles on March 21st 2024. 

 How does it work? 
  • 18 companies will be pre-selected as finalists by our estimmeed global jury (3 from each theme) 
  • 7 winners will receive a prize with international recognition (1 from each industry theme, and 1 overall winner from the Public)
  • The Awards ceremony will take place at Autonomy Mobility World Expo on March 21st during the afternoon.

2024 JURY MEMBERS

Céline GIRAULT

Manager Open Innovation | Hutchinson (corporate)

As Head of Open Innovation for the Hutchinson group, Céline Girault leads the Group's international intrapreneurship program, the Innovation Camp, which aims to create new businesses linked to sustainable mobility and to offer opportunity for employees to acquire new skills. Céline also develops internal and external relationships through start-up scouting and the establishment of new partnerships to consolidate Hutchinson's strategic and technological pillars in the following areas: electrification, hydrogen, sustainable development, renewable energies, etc. She organizes also the internal Innovation Awards competition, which brings together more than 150 applications each year. With more than 20 years of experience, Céline Girault brings a wealth of knowledge of the mobility industry, its developments and innovation ecosystems.

Patrick AYAD

Global Leader Mobility and Transportation at Hogan Lovells

Patrick Ayad leads the global sector group Mobility and Transportation at Hogan Lovells, heads Hogan Lovells global Strategic Operations, Agreements and Regulation (SOAR) practice area and is also the firm's Global Managing Partner Sectors. He is a global leading practitioner in the areas of international contract drafting, procurement and distribution law, as well as an experienced regulatory advisor. With more than 20 years of experience, Patrick brings considerable knowledge on both commercial and regulatory matters in all areas relating to the future of mobility, including Automotive, Transport and Logistics as well as Aerospace and Defense. Patrick has advised automotive manufacturers and major suppliers as well as new entrants to the mobility market across the globe on a broad range of legal issues. The fast developing field of autonomous, connected, electric and shared vehicles is a current focus of his work. He is highly recognized in his field by reputable directories such as Chambers, JUVE and Legal 500, according to which Patrick has an ""excellent reputation in the automotive industry."

Augustin FRIEDEL

Senior Manager | Mobility Transformation - MHP – A Porsche Company

Augustin Friedel is supporting his clients to master the mobility transformation towards autonomous, shared, connected, and electrified mobility. As well-known industry expert, Augustin is working with cities, OEMs, mobility platforms or suppliers to solve smart city and mobility related challenges. Augustin has a background in Mechanical Engineering. After launching Uber in Germany in 2013, he worked for fast scaling companies like Blacklane or Rocket Internet. Later on, he joined Deutsche Bahn to scale the corporate startup ioki. Before joining MHP, he led intermodality service strategy projects at Volkswagen and was in charge for aspects of the ACCELERATE corporate strategy.

SANDRINE HENRY

Secretary general | AVEM

Sandrine Henry began her career as a junior marketing analyst at Honeywell Turbo Technologies (Garrett – Advancing Motion). She then went on to join Business France (ex-Ubifrance) where she held several positions. After a career in international market research, Sandrine moved into the field of energy within Business France before wishing to focus more specifically in e-mobility. In January 2020, she joined the AVEM association as a market analyst & in charge of regional business development and in April 2022, she became Managing Director. AVEM is a French association that promotes electric vehicles and e-mobility.

Mihai CHIRCA

Head of European Affairs at Transdev

As Head of European Affairs for Transdev Group, Mihai Chirca is responsible for promoting the company's expertise in public transportation and raising awareness among European institutions. His areas of expertise include ecological transition, innovation, digitalization (data, Mobility as a Service, ticketing), intelligent transportation systems, and autonomous vehicles. With his extensive experience and knowledge of the mobility market, Mihai advises executives on the company's global influence strategy related to European public affairs and supports Transdev's European business units in understanding regulations that impact them. He is committed to fostering collaboration and driving innovation in the public transportation industry...

NICOLA DALLATANA

Senior Manager - Mobility - Open Innovation at Toyota Kinto

Nicola joined Toyota group as Head of Toyota Tsusho Systems New E-Mobility Division in 2018. His team works with different companies of the Toyota family, including KINTO the mobility company of the group, on new mobility projects. Nicola served as juror and mentor on several open innovation including Toyota Europe Accelerator and Allianz Accelerator. Disruptive innovations and micromobility (he prefers to use ‘compact mobility’) in particular have been the focus of his career. Nicola joined Segway Inc., prior to the launch of its iconic product in August 2001. For Segway he served as Managing Director of the EMEA region, the most important region globally. Nicola also served as Vice President of Global Regulatory Affairs until 2014. Before joining Toyota Tsusho, Nicola worked for Estrima.com, Italian manufacturer of the electric Birò and for very advanced power wheelchairs manufacturers: Whill.jp (Japan) and Gennymobility.com (Switzerland)...
