Description
Rainer has a background of more than 20 years in the international automotive industry. 15 of those he spent implementing and managing mobility services, such as car sharing, ride hailing, or micro mobility.
As an aeronautics engineer with a MBA, from an early age on he was fascinated by anything moving. After 10 years in various classical automotive industry functions in Germany and Japan, he launched and managed various mobility services in Europe, China, and the US. Rainer has lived and worked in seven countries on three continents and recently settled back from Shanghai, China, to Germany.
A strong believer in the benefits of autonomous driving, he joined the on-demand ride pooling platform MOIA at the beginning of 2024 to accelerate the adoption of autonomous mobility services in Europe.
