Description
Didier is a passionate entrepreneur, Chief Business Officer, and co-founder of WISP Solutions, a company at the forefront of revolutionizing traffic light management. From a young age, Didier's fascination with Computer Science and technology drove him to program games in assembly language on his first personal computer. He even took on the role of teaching programming to his school's teachers during his summer breaks.
With a natural inclination towards teamwork, Didier pursued his musical interests and played in bands while continuously striving for excellence. To further his understanding of AI, he pursued an engineering degree and developed AI-based chess algorithms. Building on this foundation, he graduated from HEC Grande Ecole in Paris, specializing in Finance, and embarked on his career in leading banks, where he traded derivatives and developed pricing software.
Drawing on his entrepreneurial drive, Didier successfully established and sold two internet startups during the early days of the Internet. After this success, he recognized the importance of enhancing his leadership skills and decided to pursue an INSEAD Executive MBA. This program provided him with valuable insights, knowledge, and networks to further excel in his entrepreneurial journey. Didier then held executive business development roles in prominent financial institutions before returning to AI-based startups. As the first team member on the ground, he built European teams from scratch, contributing to the growth and success of these ventures.
