Description
Jean entered the sustainable infrastructure and renewable energy revolutions in Europe with the pioneers in the early 2000s. He has been active in the space ever since. He is an industry authority in Europe and North America. Jean held senior operational management and executive positions with TotalEnergies, Akuo Energy, Velocita Energy (Riverstone Holdings) and he also advised prestigious organizations such as Rothschild, EnBW, Hermès and large investment funds such as NTR plc on their energy transition journey. He successfully founded several companies in Europe and the US and designed and developed renewable technologies and decision-support software. Throughout his career Jean delivered close to 1GW of renewable energy globally, executed in excess of €1.0bn worth of sustainable infrastructure transactions. In late 2023 Jean was named « Energy Infrastructure CEO of the Year » by the business magazine EU business news. Jean graduated in engineering and energy economics and management from Ecole des Mines ParisTech and Ecole des Mines de Douai, France. He also studied at McGill University, the MIT and Chicago Booth.
