Description
Catriona Meehan helps sustainable mobility companies navigate complex regulatory landscapes and scale smoothly. She is a seasoned Public Affairs professional with over a dozen years of experience, and provides expert counsel and guidance to startups, scale-ups, government institutions, and large companies worldwide. Catriona has helped companies win dozens of tenders to operate their electric vehicle solutions, she is passionate about sustainable mobility and believes in the need for more positive regulation for the industry to thrive.
As a former Co-Chair of Micromobility for Europe, Catriona was a founding member of the first industry association representing electric micromobility to EU politicians and advocated for favorable legislation. She also led Policy, Communication and Sustainability for a micro-mobility company, where she helped the company quadruple in size, and gain market entry permissions in 50+ new markets, ultimately leading the company to three separate successful acquisitions in Q4 2021. Her achievements also included helping cities redesign and innovate their mobility infrastructure, and achieving carbon neutrality for the company.
Catriona is a passionate advocate for gender-balanced leadership and funding for female-led startups. She is an Ambassador for the European Commission's #DiversityinTransport initiative. She also currently serves as a VP of the Professional Women's Network in Barcelona. In 2022, Catriona launched Startingup PA to help startups and scale-ups build tailored solutions to political challenges across EMEA. Her work covers several global markets, and she speaks more than five languages fluently, including English, Spanish, and French. With her expertise and experience, Catriona is dedicated to making a positive impact in the sustainable mobility industry.
