Disposed of and unused chargers are estimated to represent about 11,000 tonnes of e-waste annually. With more and more vehicles and safety equipment becoming chargeable, it was the obvious choice when Äike - the only fully European-made e-scooter in the world - decided to opt for a USB-C charging port both for the scooter itself, as well as the removable battery. This means the Äike T scooter can be charged with a regular laptop charger.
