Description
Matthieu Graindorge is the coordinator of EU Smart and Green mobility projects at the City of Helmond. He holds master degrees in Political Science - from Science Po Lille and Pantheon-Sorbonne University (France). He joined the City of Helmond in August 2018. Matthieu has an extensive working experience in European projects in the fields of mobility and energy. From 2000 to 2006, as a consultant, he notably worked on EU research projects related to urban freight (FREDERIC, FIDEUS). From July 2006 till August 2018, he acted as a European project manager at La Rochelle Urban Community (France). He was in charge of the implementation of several EU mobility projects, in various frameworks : FP6 CIVITAS-SUCCESS, INTERREG-START, IEE-BIOSIRE, URBACT Freight Tails. He was notably the local coordinator of several Automated Road Transport Systems pilots in La Rochelle within CityMobil and CityMobil2 EU projects. In Helmond, Matthieu has been working on several H2020 European projects dealing with mobility, C-ITS and CCAM, notably CAPITAL (2016-2019 : C-ITS training); SECREDAS (2018-2021 : Cybersecurity and CCAM) ; REVEAL (2019-2022 : Urban Vehicle Access Regulations). From September 2022, he has also been involved in Horizon Europe MOVE2CCAM which aims at better understanding the societal and individual needs of CCAM solutions and their impacts.
