Description
After having worked at the Île-de-France Region’s Vice-president’s cabinet on transport for 9 years, Françoise Guaspare is in charge of transport and mobility at the representation of the Paris Region in Brussels since 2008. She has always been involved in producing positions in transport policy on behalf of the European Regions. She was a member of various expert groups of the Commission, such the Sustainable Transport Forum (STF) focusing on financing in the framework of the alternative fuel in Cities or in the TEN T group. She leads the Transport working group of ERRIN (European regional network on research and innovation) and the governance and integration working group of the POLIS Network. She currently coordinates the S3 Safe and Sustainable Mobility Thematic Platform. She is Vice-chair of ERTRAC, the European Road Transport Research Advisory Council and represent of the public sector at the CCAM European partnership board. She is one of the 14 expert members of the Cities mission board rapporteur of the board and co lead the multilevel governance Working group.
She represents the Ile-de-France region:
• at the expert group on Urban mobility (EGUM) and co lead the subgroup on Public transport and shared mobility
• at the board of NECSTouR, Network of European Regions for Sustainable and Competitive Tourism. Based in Brussels, NECSTouR develops Interregional Projects to improve Sustainable Tourism in Europe.
